Rural Policy Advice to One North East
Rural Innovation have teamed up with York Consulting and the Centre for International Competitiveness to help the North East's RDA refresh its rural policy. The project includes the development of a new rural evidence base for the region, detailed analysis of economic activity across the rural area and an assessment of the value and contribution that the rural North East makes to the regional economy.
Following the evidential work, the consultancy team will work with the RDA's strategy unit to develop a set of policy recommendations that will be used to inform the approach taken to rural areas within the emerging Integrated Regional Strategy.
